The Colosseum guided tour by the expert guide will share with you the history of the monument, its glory, its dark past and more. The Colosseum could seat up to 80,000 spectators, and your guide will show you how the intelligent engineering allowed for spectators to be seated and cleared out in 15 minutes. The usually inaccessible arena floor is for you to explore as part of this tour. Feel like a Gladiator as you enter the gates and witness the trapdoors which were used to awe the audience as the gladiators and animals were hoisted from the underground to the arena. As for the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, those are for you to explore freely so get some great advice from your guide as what you should not miss.
Meet the guide at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, a little square close to the Colosseum. Look for a guide holding a red GetYourGuide flag.
